Gillian is a Textile artist and Designer maker, qualified with a first class BA(Hons) in Applied Arts, City & Guild Certificate and Diploma in Creative Embroidery, added to many previous years of textile decoration experience and with a business and training background.

She has recently been awarded Licentiate (with Merit) membership from the Society of Designer Craftsmen and joined the UK design group designGAP.

Her audience is the middle and upper ends of the Applied Arts / Contemporary Crafts market in the UK and France, selling through the internet to end clients, via direct contact to bespoke galleries, collectors and exhibiting at high profile Craft Exhibitions.

Pantoufles is the design label of textile designer maker Gillian Royal who specialises in 3D felt making.
